Regina Banali has over 30 years of on set experience as an actress, producer, director and Intimacy Coordinator. As an actress she has appeared in nude and simulated love scenes in over 40 films and television shows.
Mrs. Banali studied acting, cold reading and scene study with Joan Darling, Darryl Hickman, Roy London, Jeff Corey, Howard Fine, Kimberly Jentzen, and Brain Reise. She stepped behind the camera in 2008, producing and directing short films, webisodes, music videos, trailers, PSAs, second unit, and directed a feature film she licensed to Showtime Networks and self distributed world wide.
She is a feminist, progressive, #MeToo and #TimesUp advocate. She is also a member of SAG-AFTRA, ATATS, NATAS, The Alliance of Women Directors, Women in Film, Glass Elevator, Women in Media, Film Independent and Film Fatales.
Regina is President and CEO of Intimacy Coordinators Alliance for Film and Television. ICAFT trains and qualifies Intimacy Coordinators who are industry veterans with the experience, training, and passion for protecting artists on set that is essential to do this sensitive work.
She is one of only 32 in the US to be accredited by SAG-AFTRA as a qualified Intimacy Coordinator and is in full compliance with the #TIMESUP guidelines for Intimacy Coordinator's qualifications.
